When the eggs are hatched, the newborn louse hatches out and leave a white shiny empty eggshell, which is also known as nit, that can be observed along a hair strand.
The sac is small when the eggs are present in it and it reflects a dull color look and hard to identify. As soon as the eggs are hatched, the sac turns white and is easier to identify.
They suck the human blood for their survival; they suck blood from the human scalp. A lice attack may not be mistaken for a poor hygiene as lice prefer clean head and scalp.
How to locate these eggs?
You can take the help of a fine-toothed nit comb or a specifically designed detection comb for nits and head lice.
Studies have revealed that the louse eggs are far more difficult to remove and kill than a louse as insecticide lotions are not potent enough to penetrate the eggshell to have access into the developing louse from the louse egg. It is therefore considered necessary that you must repeat any lice or louse egg removal remedy to make sure that any louse eggs that may have survived the initial remedy application may be killed.

You can also make use of chemical-based shampoos which contains pyrethrins and permethrin as ingredients or herbal based treatment by applying a mixture of coconut, olive, Jojoba, and tea tree oils.
