How to Get Rid of Cellulite Thighs: Exercise & Fitness
“Hi my name is Lisa Gaylord. I’m a personal trainer with LisaGaylord.com. I’m here at Metropolis Fitness in Miami, Florida. In this clip I’m going to show you how to get rid of cellulite thighs and you’ll need a bench. What I want you to think about is if you’re in your home as I’m in my gym, I’m going to use a regular step bench top, but you can use the back of a chair, something that is stationary. I’m going to use a martial art’s move. It’s called a side kick. I want you to turn your foot in, hold your back of your chair and push out, push out. Now this doesn’t have to be high, but I want it to be a consistent movement. So, it’s a swinging up and out. Make sure that your toes aren’t turned upwards but they’re turned downwards. So it’s going to work on the side of the hips. Alright, I’m going to put the bench down. The second movement is going to be a regular squat. I want you to think about squatting through your heels, and hands in front for balance. Drop down and squeeze up. I’m going to turn sideways, so you watch my motion. I don’t want you to pitch forward too much, but arms are out. Sit like you’re going to sit on a chair and squeeze your butt up. Drop again and squeeze up. When we do these we’re going to do repetitions of anywhere from 12 to 15 at a time, shake it off, maybe get a little stretch. Again you want to hold the back of your chair if you’re at home. Let’s go to the third routine. Right here is a lunge. We’re going to step backwards, drop down, watch the alignment of my leg. My knee is placed over my heel. I’m not pushing through my toes and again, if you need to use the back of your chair, you can turn it sideways. I’m going to use my bench, hang on and then step backwards, and one more, and that’s how we work on cellulite for the thighs. This is Lisa Gaylord. Thank you for watching.”
